I was also going to ask you guys what you thought of the taxidermy work, I have been going to this guy for a while now and I think he does a good job.It was nice that he only charged my dad $30.00 for the cape!

Nice buck and all, but he's nowhere near 160 inches. I would say 135-140 gross, and that's being pretty liberal.

I wasn't going to respond at first, but then I thought about it.It really doesn't matter what a deer scores, but to undermine what I post as FACT is somewhat disheartening.[:-]

I'm not trying to undermine the score you gave for this deer, I was just stating what my guess was by looking at the picture. Somehow I managed to glance over your post stating what the deer scored in at. If for some reason it offended you, you have my apology. It wasn't my original intention.

No hard feelings man! What I found really interesting is that it did have relatively short tines compared to the spread and main beams(25&1/2). In fact the longest tine was "only" 10 in.
