Default A Unique New Release Aid

Something that I have found that bridges the gap, between wrist style hunting releases (which can be activated using back tension) and the designated back tension releases, is called a Cal Pro Release by JB Archery. They also have a conversion device that fits the Scott Release triggers.

It allows you to use all three fingers on your release hand and gives you a real surprise on the release. It, like many NEW items, takes some time to get used to it; but, once mastered, few go back. We've sold a lot of them and have received great feedback.

This release/adapter teaches a form of wrist release activation that I've been teaching for years. That is, to NOT 'grip' your wrist release. Gripping the release will encourage left/right problems. For pictures on this latest invention, go to the following:

Len, the page won't open for me. Is this the "trigger shoe" you were showing to Wade and me when we were in your shop last week?

Mark:

Too many forward slashes in the addy. Thanks. It's corrected now.

Yes, it is the device that I showed to you and Wade.

BTW, the website doesn't show the Scott Release adapter. It looks just like the extension on the Cal Pro Release except that it slides over the Scott trigger and has two set screws to hold it to the existing Scott trigger.

Len- I got one of those adapters a couple weeks ago and love it- Ive got fairly large hands and for some reason it just feels alot better than using the smaller pin type trigger on my Mongoose- in fact Im gonna order another one for my spare release.

i chickened out when Len tried to get me to try that thing out, and he called me one accordingly. i don't have a problem gripping the release like a lot of folks but i still may give it a whirl.
