RE: ?who shoots a string loop???
TFOX,
So if I have this correct, if you have a setup where knock pinch isn't an issue and you shoot a release that doesn't unusually wear on your serving...the only real need for a loop is for the ability to "in essence" split hairs in tournament play. And personal preference factors in too..whether you feel more comfortable shooting one or not. I appreciate the informative response. Thankyou. |

RE: ?who shoots a string loop???
I have always shot one. I do not know why. I just kinda do it because everyone else does it.[8D] It also looks cool.:D

RE: ?who shoots a string loop???
I've been shooting a string loop since 1997. Never had one fail. I just replace them when they start to fray.

RE: ?who shoots a string loop???
Stump, forgiveness is another big factor. You can lean out around trees and if you are not using a loop, you will experience more torque on the bowstring than if you are using a loop. This could cause serious flight issues.
This is also splitting hairs but it is for a hunting situation and not tournament play. |
