i dont use one for the simple fact that it seemed to take a lil bit longer when i went to hook my release up when i saw a deer. i shoot good groups without one so i think im gonna stick to what im doin.

I shoot a string loop. Mine stays on really good. If you get one make sure you get it waxed. That'll help alot.;)

If tied on correctly and the ends melted as they should be... there's no way it can come undone or loose. It just can't happen. Been using one for several years. Greatest thing since.......errrr.... ahhhhhhhh... well maybe not ... but they're good.

I have used them for about six years and the only problem i have had was one broke but I should have changed it due to wear. They have been a great way of adding some forgiveness to my bows, I use them for 3D shoots and hunting.

I added one about 3 months ago to my old bow. Added one last week to my new bow. After seeing the wear my release put on my string I'll never go back. I'd rather have the string loop pull free then have a string snap. And as rack mentioned, If tied properly they will tighten as pressure is applied and should never pull loose if tied properly.

i use one, have for about 4 years now, i guess i just feel like i get a central draw with it , instead of below the nock , and i also have seen the difference of string wear , as my cousin doesn't use one.

I used to use one, but I don't any longer. Sure the loop will save on serving wear, but only depending on what release you use. I shoot with a Scott and I don't have any or hardly any serving wear. I have more wear on the serving from the arrow knock than I do my release. Sure a loop will help or eliminate knock pinch, but only if your pulling a short bow and have a long draw length. In my case, I feel that they are useless. My draw length is 28" and I shoot an Xtec at 35 1/2" and use a Scott release. No crazy serving wear that everyone talks about and no knock pinch. Not to mention you lose a little speed with a loop.

I used too. With my latest bow I ditched the loop to get my draw length perfect. Like mentioned above , they're only the cats meow in certain cases. I have the same accuracy with or without one.

One thing I dont understand (from Washington Hunters pic) , why some folks use a loop and still use a metal nock point?[&:] Ditch that metal nock point , set your nock height with a correctly tied loop and it aint moving. It's just extra weight on the string.

I've used one for the last 4 years and won't leave home without it:) Loose speed with it, what, maybe 1 fps. Oh my, a deer might jump my string and make me miss!! NOT:D
