Finished setting up my Havoctec
I finished setting up my new Hoyt Havoctec last night. I installed a Shurz-A-Peep, Trophy Ridge Flatliner Xtreme sight, Bodoodle Bullet, Sims string leeches, Sims cable dampeners, Sims mini-limbsaver on the sight, a string loop and a Doinker stablizer. It only took 6 shots with the Flatliner sight to get dialed in. My first 3 arrow group at 30 yards measured about 1 3/4". Awesome!! There's virtually no hand shock and all I heard after I cut loose a shot was a mute "whump". I still have a Hoyt Vexor stabilizer on order so I guess I'm not totally done yet. This bow is great.

RE: Finished setting up my Havoctec
Total cost with accessories is approx. $750. I found the bow for $530, the cheapest of 3 local shops. Anyone in PA near Ebensburg, looking for a Havoctec should go there. I shot a few more arrows today before it started snowing, and after every shot I just stared at the bow in awe. I can't believe how well it's shooting, I think the high brace height is largely responsible for that. It just leaves me smiling. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
