Update on the thief, The detective who is handling the case happens to be a good friend from high school so I talked to him about it. The kid had been in and out of my garage all day. He had taken my sons bike and been riding it around the nieghborhood and was jumping the ramp in my alley right behind my garage. The kid has already been kicked out of school and is going to a school for troubled kids. I waited to see if I herd from his parents but they never came by or called. Myself I think that is a problem in its self. If that was my boy he would of been at the mans house kissing his butt. The worst thing is I went out this morning to see if anything was missing while looking around I noticed a pile of crap on my patio I thought for a second thinking my dog did it. Said to myself she has never crapped up here. I got closer and it wasnt dog crap it was human. The little piece of garbage crapped on my patio and the worst is I have a rack of paper towels sitting right there and he never even wipped. I know your saying the same thing I did, know way he crapped on my patio. I do some plumbing work so I know what human crap looks like. The crap is still sitting there and he is going to come here and clean it or I am going to charge a very high fee if I have to pick it up. After seeing that sitting there and not getting an apology from his parents I am pressing charges to the fullest. The problem is now I have to go to court to get the money for the cam and wheel and my crap cleaning service. I want to say what the hell is wrong with kids these days but after not hearing from his parents I think the question is what the hell is wrong with parents these days. I didnt mention that I have a 6 foot tall privacy fence around my yard that he had to climb to even see what I have in my yard. The best part of the whole thing is when talking to the detective I told him that I have a dog(LAB) and I let her out in yard all the time. If I had let her out she would of bitten his ass.(she is very protective)He asked do you have your fence posted I said no and he said the parents could of sued me if my dog bit there kid even if he was robbing my garage. I have it posted at evey gate now but I sure thought the was a joke.

renz, if you got your property posted, make sure it doesnt say beware of dog.a lawyer told me if you have these beware signs, you're admitting you have a viscious dog whether he is or not,and you will lose the case!!! just thought id let you in on this bit of info

You did the right thing Renz, if it was me, I would have probablly been the one getting charges pressed against me after beating some sense into the little punk. I may be 18 years old, but that doesn't mean that I am a bad kid. As a matter of fact, I have never been in trouble at school. In all my years, I never got suspended, or even detention. I think the worst thing I got was a verbal repremand from a teacher because I was talking in study hall. Kids like that just TICK ME OFF.

Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)

BM, there is a good reason why you never acted the way this kid did, when you were that age!
Your parents, and grandparents showed you right from wrong. They spent some time with you. This young boy would not be pulling this crap if he had parents who cared about him. The best thing for him now is to be charged with these offenses. Hopefully he will learn right from wrong before it is too late!

Glad to hear you got it back. I would be lost without my new SQ2. I think the only true anti-theft for a bowhunter is to buy a HOYT. Even the kid wouldn't want to steal one of those things!!!!! (haha)

Glad ya caught the punk red-handed. You're right Renz. Sounds like the BIG problem is with the parents. Seems like they don't care. That's sad <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>. Just keep your cool about the situation and I'm sure that justice will be served.

that is the one reason we decided not to live in a neighborhood, we bought some acres and are surrounded by woods so if I get robbed and I see them they are dead meat, I have loaded guns in every closet (hidden) and a couple next to the bed. my wife is paranoid about the woods and somebody breaking in, because we have no neighbors and the woods get very dark with lots of noise, (deer,critters,ect...)

Gees Javan... why be paranoid? You got the guns, you got the privacy, put up some motion lights in the woods, turn on the burglar alarm and you're good to go. I don't have the space but do have the guns, lights and top of the line burlar system.
