someone should put it in a press and check it out for bent axles, broken string fibre, bent cam, cracked limbs etc.

Most bows can easily handle being dry fired, but you never know.

You will always be asking yourself on every arrow that is not grouping with the other arrows--Hmmm I wonder since it was dryfired if--??????????? To ease your mind, you will probably will have to get another bow....Keep us posted, and good luck in whatever you choose to do, as it is a costly mistake, I know because a friend of mine dryfired my compound bow quite a few years back and it was'nt a pretty sight with it laying on the ground in a tangled mess!!!

That happen's my friend ,I've seen bow's dryfired and had no problem's but when you tear them down you can find your axle's bent .I would recommend you have it checked just to be on the safe side .I'm very surprised that your cables and string's didn't explode I've done this myself and had to learn the hard way .
