It has not been that long ago, that if a bow shooter criticized the choice (brand) of bow of other shooters, or he or she claimed that only his or her bow was the best bow on the market, that person would have instantly been considered to be an oddball and would have been regarded as the "village idiot."
It used to be that bowhunters would admire the bows of each other, compliment the other person on how the bow looked and performed, and then the conversation would quickly move on to the relevant specific aspects of bowhunting. Why? Because we knew that all the bows were good and that it was strictly a matter of personal preference and what bow felt good to the person. We knew that no particular bow was the best bow for all shooters.
We unconsciously endorsed the statement that a renown target shooter once made (I do not recall who the person was).
Paraphrased: "Archery tournaments are not won by the bow, tournaments are won with a bow. It is the skill of the shooter that wins tournaments"
As Bob Ragsdale once said. Paraphrased: "There is not a bow made that cannot be setup to shoot with good accuracy."

I think Martin should have been mentioned in that original list....
.
I agree though...who wants to hear about a company that makes a fine product and backs it up with excellent customer service.
Not I.
