This year me my brother and dad tried these broadheads out this year and they penatrated great. We noticed one thing most of the time when using other heads a hit in the chest cavity made a poping sound, the grim reapers made a thoud sound like a belly hit. Out of the four deer we took this year not one time did the head brake a rib entrance or exit all were hit in the rib cage and exited the rib cage. Every time the head cut its way through and all shots were complete pass throughs. I really like these heads for hunting although I have one problem with them they don't hold up well on 3D targets. I think a lot of that has to do with the aluminum furrlow, but the ones that were shot at the deer held up great no damage at all other than one lost one of the blades in the tip. If you used these heads post your results. Out of the three expandables I have shot(Spitfires, shockwaves the other two) the Grim Reapers hands down penatrated the best. They will be in my quiver next year.

That is one of my favorites too. I am in love with the shockwaves as they penetrated very well for me this year on two bucks. ONe was a complete double lung shot. the second was a double shoulder shot that the arrow penetrated both shoulders but arrow didn't go all the way through arrow was poking out the other side of the deers shoulder. I am very happy with these heads and doubt any other head could of done bette even fixed ones. I will pick up some more grim reapers this off season too compliment my shockwaves.
