When the pressure was on, that deer found a spot where he knew nobody could find him. That really sucks. [&:]

ya that sure is too bad.....a few years ago I found one dead in an old granary...The buck must have went in and the door closed behind him, never did get out. Also my buddy found a fawn that had fallen down an old abandoned well on his land. The deer was still alive so he took square hay bales and dropped them down there so that the little guy could climb out and scamper off. I'm sure the fawn gave him one big thankyou for helping him out...

For once, big (his rack) is not better. Still that's a bad way to go.

Like I've always said, "those critters find the God awefulest places to exit their world". I have been shedding alot and so far have come across a gnawed up 4" tine to show for my efforts. Guess I had better get my butt down into the gnarlest crap and not forget to look into cracks and crevices from now on. Harruuumph!!!!

Yeah, that's a mulie, and the best explanation I've heard was that a mountain lion stashed him there. But who knows.
