Got more good news! I wrote up a proposal that was approved by the Alaskan Bowhunters Association and we got our grizzly bear hunting back too! The board voted 7 for and 0 against to get rid of the drawing and make it a registration hunt in the fall, and open in the spring. Registration means you have to go register, get a registration tag and go hunt, it is still over the counter, but can be closed if a certain number of bear have been taken.

2 for 2 on the proposals that I helped write! I look forward to the upcoming season!

Last year I had to pass this guy up because I didn't draw a tag, this year if I see him again, he'll be a rug and roasts. I got 20 yards from this guy and got a lot of video of him during the open season. Grrrrrrr. Oh well, I got some neat pictures out of it.
