The ones feeding in my back yard most still have their antlers. We'll avoid antlers of course and check for private parts, head scabs etc on big deer we THINK might be bucks. We really don't want to shoot them. We also don't want to be doing this for more than a couple weeks because of the size of the fetus. It's going to be tricky. The prize goes to he who doesn't screw it up.

Actually, they issued 20 permits this time, Dave.
I guess they're getting tired of us asking for more too often.

One of my customers needs venison badly for his one child. I'll probably try to get one quickly for him.

SA:
My son and wife saw 4 deer in the field by our house the other day. 3 had full racks and the 4th still had one side. I'm sure they'll drop everything soon.
Dave:
Sean wants to hunt both Saturday and Sunday. A 'chip off the old block'!

I went on a crop damage hunt a few years ago in March. I'd have to decline if ever offered the chance again. When I field dressed the doe her fetus was a little bigger than a softball and fully developed.

Solution,
Don't gut the deer and just get the backstraps and hind quarters. Take them off the bone while you do it. This is the cleanest, quickest way.
I'm sure you all will tag out quick. Baltimore Suburbs are loaded with deer..

Yes, we are fortunate to have this 'problem' and thank the liberals for a lot of it. This State has so many 'bleeding hearts' that it's turned it into a MAJOR problem for both the farmers and the insurance companies.
