I hunt on a few farms with big bucks on them, but we hardly see them. Not anything that size that we've seen. I wasn't aware that even a nocturnal buck comes out in the day during the rut. Good luck next year on that bad boy.

Hey bow-addict, I hunt in pike co., ill. every year. I have gotten several phone calls from the locals out in pike co. since the slug season about a buck that was shot near nebo, ill. This buck is supposed to net over 20" more than the hanson buck. I find this really hard to believe, and I can`t get them to send a picture. They are telling me that the hunter, who is from indiana, will not give a picture to anyone. The buck is supposed to be a 8x9, that wil score as a typical.(mainframe 8x8, with one non-typical point.) Have you heard anything about this buck? I have personally seen bucks in pike and calhoun co. that would push 190-200" typical, but pushing 240" typical? That would be bigger than I could even imagine!
