This is a great picture with a good view of the mature hardwoods and pines. I shot him in 2000 while scouting/stalking through new land. The big downed tree behind me gives the picture it's debth and is also the very spot the deer layed after a sixty yard run from a small somewhat clearing in the woods with more undergroath. Wish I was smiling

This was a early Sept 2003 turkey that just had to have my arrow at 23 yards.

You are like my son, Joe, Mantis Mayer. He never smiles in pictures. I think it's his reserved nature, basically very shy, so far. I have to treasure the smiles when he 1st. tells me that he's scored another deer. Those smiles are permanently emblazoned in my mind. Great photo and buck my friend. That is my latest quest Ate-Up. I'm learning about coyote behavior and hunting. One of my prime hunting areas is pretty thick with them and the pack is in need of thinning. If you have any pointers on coyote hunting from your experience I'd love to hear about them in a new thread or e-mail. Thanks in advance for your time.

I never get tired of those shots fellas. Everytime I see them my mouth starts to watering and I get that special twinkle in my eyes. My brides thinks I'm nuts but I'm content with being a nut.
