RE: If You Could Live Anywhere???
I have lived in many places, Alaska, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Nevada, Iowa, Upper Penninsula of Michigan etc. and I would most definately pick the UP of Michigan first and then Alaska. They are both gods country to me but I just find it more comfortable here in Michigan. My dad lives in Alaska so I get to visit quite often. Never hunted there yet but have done a lot of fishing!!!!!

RE: If You Could Live Anywhere???
I'm right where I want to be - New York. Beautiful country, lots of hunting and fishing opportunities, outdoor activities, family and friends. There are some negatives, like taxes and more taxes and taxes on top of the taxes, but overall it's a great place. I've visited 90% of the U.S. States and many have a lot to offer. I've lived in 3 states that were very different from each other, but have always found myself coming back to New York.
Everyone should keep in mind. Most of us can live almost anywhere we want. It may require some effort and sacrifice to get there, but if it's really where you want to live..... |

RE: If You Could Live Anywhere???
I will stay right here in Idaho. Moved here once before. Moved to NY and now I am back to stay. I have a good root system going and don't care to uproot again. Possibly the least touristy of the western states. No draw needed for an elk tag. Manage to bag one about every year now.
