Honestly, and it may sound weird, but after being there...North Dakota. Unpopulated, low cost of living, generous bag limits, great fishing for all species, hunting: Moose, Elk, Whitetail and Muledeer, antelope, bear, turkey, duck, goose, cranes, varmints of all kinds.

Almost any state west of the Mississippi R., I've lived out east all my life and am growing very tired of it!

Seeing that I have a bro' in Montana, I believe that would be my choice, besides I've been out there a number of times and like it = no PEOPLE!! Maybe someday that thought will take fruit and I'll pack it up and haul west..........someday.........:)

Right here in ND. I can be sitting in my treestand seeing lots of deer or sitting in a boat enjoying some excellent fishing , all only 15 minutes from my house. Excellent fishing, great hunting I've got no reason to leave.

Ouray County Colorado in the midst of the Uncompahgre National Forest. To many deer to count, elk, trout streams, and the San Juan Mountain Range. As close to heaven as you can get without being there

North Carolina, I love where I live but do wish I was closer to the salt water. I plan on retiring and do fishing tournaments. I can always travel to hunt.
