but don't waste time with the pics or racks.
To me thats not getting it

you don't see a P&Y 80% of the time then...
you don't expect to see a HUGE (fill in your Size Goal)% of the time....

You aren't getting it!

We won't even shoot them until late in the season because we see huge on a regular basis

I have only had really three with in bow range but didn't take the shot because it wasn't there
Seems maybe you are not quite getting it;)

Come on rack why would you want to waste a picture on a great animal you've been putting time into hunting since the season let out the previous year.

Your so silly. Aren't you getting it.

If I shot a few 130's I'd know excactly how many a few is wouldn't you.

No, why waste time with the picture if that size is common where I hunt? The last one I shot in the end of December, I left the rack at a buddies house where I pulled the meat. He insisted on capping it. I was going to discard on the side of the road with the rest of the deer. What else do you do with a rack. I found they lie around forever. Thats all I need is more of them. I have fed them to my dog but he has all the bones he needs. I'm sure you all have some other uses but I don't need another rattling set.

Don't tell me I don't get it. You can't kill a huge deer unless you hunt where they hang out. By the looks of the big bucks in one of the last post, there are people out there hunting where big boys hang out. I can also say that the many states I have traveled in and scouted there are big deer in them. If you don't see them where your hunting, find where they are and get it.

This makes no sense at all, other than there are no deer to post pics of.

Really? So we all should not hunt unless we find these magical places?

I think this guy could be an alias of messageman.

After reading the rest of your posts, why doesn`t this blatant act of a slob surprise me?

You are unique for sure. I have never talked to anybody before who was so obssessed with putting the time in to find big bucks, then could not remember how many they had killed. Or did not take pictures of them. Or get at least some of them mounted.

Out of curiousity fieldmouse, just where do you find these 160" bucks on a regular basis?

I promise not to invade your area.....just tell us a state even.

Don't tell me I don't get it. You can't kill a huge deer unless you hunt where they hang out.

Its a little harder than just hunting where they are.........isn't it???

You got em running around you almost every hunt.

And still can't shoot one big enough to waste a picture on.

Big Country is 100% correct. when you put the time and effort into chasing big bucks as you say you do. When you become the trohy hunter that you say you are - It is all about the hunt, the animal and the bone. And the day one of my bones finds a home in a roadside ditch is the day I hang up the bow.

and you still don't get it;)

You aren't getting it!

What I'm trying to point out is you have to see what you plan to kill if you want to kill it!

Don't except the fact you if don't have conections or don't own property find the way on

Look around and scout your county and/or state.
I did this for the first few years in. I saw deer and the ocasional P&Y but it didn't satisfy me. I talked and connected. I can shoot a deer every time out. I don't get a chance to see a 160 class everytime but I expect to.
There is my origonal qoute. If you read then, it's pretty clear to what I mean. I have no dog in this hunt. I can hunt every year and be happy. I came on this because I thought others share the pasion of killing huge deers.

I don't have a huge deer to my credit yet but I will. When I do you bet I will post it. I have pass on one shot because I wanted to recover that creature. I didn't take the shot on the others because it wasn't there. I have seen many many huge deer but out of bow range. They run in the areas I hunt and they are there regularly runing around 30% of the time. If the finacial responsibility didn't get in the way or the wife, I would have one hanging now. You have to hunt where the are and get it.

You can believe this or think I'm full of BS. I don't you all and you don't know me. I don't have a dog in this race other than to let you know that such areas exsist in your areas. LOOK AROUND. When I travel in the states that I do I'm always looking for signs. Mostly around the resisdential areas. I have seen a lot. More then you would believe. I personally believe the next record in the states I have hunted and the ones I have scouted will come from resisdential areas. I will admit the area I hunt is so over run with deer it's not funny. Some of the other areas are as well. Any one hunt in Ohio? Worthington is a prime place. I haven't seen many deer in the country but, the residential area hold some biggins.

If you think I might be telling the truth check it out. Robinhood36 understands but I don't want to put words in his mouth. You first find your deer and then fiqure out how to hunt them. I won't spell out how to gain access but that is part of the hunt in it's self. You would be surprise to know how many home owners are fed up with the deer. They are a nuisance and health hazard.

LOL! C'mon if you consisitantly shot 130" class bucks, you'd want pictures of them! Unless...... they were shot illegally.

BTW, I just want to know where the heck you live that you see P&Y class bucks on a regular basis. I'd think about moving there myself.

I was going to discard on the side of the road with the rest of the deer.
How many people actually do this!? Somebody said it right.... "Slobish"

You can't kill a huge deer unless you hunt where they hang out.
Obviously they have to be there in order to see them.

Interesting.

Well Said Rack and BC!

BTW, I don't get it. I had a blast this archery season and didn't even shoot a buck! Go Figure! [:@][:@][:@]
