i keep hereing all this stuff about a bow called mathews. so is this just a new model bowtech or is it some new off brand bow?

IT is Mathews Inc. not a bow called it, Mathews makes the Outback, LX, etc!

They are certainly not offbrand! I wouldn't mind owning one, but I am not sure I want to fork out $500-$900 just yet on the bow and not even have money for the arrows and stuff.

Jeff, Avid...I think youve been had. One thing is for sure if pup has 508 posts he should know what a mathews is. I think he knows a little more than he is telling.

I hope to God you don't get ridiculed to death for that question! People seem to be very passionate, and at sometimes over-passionate about Mathews. Mathews is far from off-brand. Between Mathews, Bowtech, and Hoyt...they seem to be the brand of choice around here. I'd love to own a Mathews, but i just can't afford it. I've shot an LX, and it was one SWEET A$$ bow.
