Default Best Tree Stand Sight

Anyone have opinions about tree stand sights? How about "ABC Pivotal Sight"? Does the point of impact change with different tree stand heights. Thanks in advance. Bob

I know some folks swear by the pivotal sights. I use regular ole fixed sights. Yes, point of impact can change with height, but the absolute best way of figuring out the angles is to shoot from that height! Whatever your setup, just practice from that height! Some will argue: "bend at the waist" some "bend the front knee towards the target". Whatever you prefer, Practice!

Bob.. does the ABC pivotal sight work like a pendulum? I have a pendulum sight that I absolutely love. I don't have to judge distances when I'm up in my tree and I've shot it from different heights with good accuracy without having to change anything. I started out with that sight with my first bow so I've never used a sight with fixed pins. I'm sure there are +'s and -'s to each one but I personally would recommend a pendulum type sight.

I have used a Keller pendulum for the last eight or nine years. Pendulum sights take all the guesswork out of pin placement and distance estimations when hunting from an elevated stand. If you do most of your hunting on the ground, I wouldn't recommend a pendulum.

Northern Badger, I haven't bought the ABC sight yet, only saw info on it on the web. According to the info, it is supposed to be a step above a pendulum, which is supposed to better follow the trajectory of the arrow. The ad says it works off a cam instead of a true arc like all other pendulums do. Here is the address if you are interested www.bowhunting.net/abc DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE ABC IS A QUIET SIGHT?
