Making arrows float
My friends and I are going to go after some nutria rats. They live in a pond. I shoot them with arrows. After I hit them I need something to tell me where they are like a bobber sort of. When I would shoot in the water, would the arrow skip? Thanks

RE: Making arrows float
I have put many an alum arrow into the water behind my parents house (many[:'(])
They always floated and I would just start up my aquasport and go get em;) They never skipped - but I was shooting a Mathews back then - so they where heading straight down by the time they hit the water[8D] |
RE: Making arrows float
I would suggest just using some old or bent arrows and just let them rip. Anything else would be to much trouble. If you plan on getting really close, you could try bowfishing tackle
