Default Shootin with a D-loop

I was wondering how much of an adavantage there is by not having your release touch the bow string, or how important it is to shoot with a loop. Also how much does it increase your draw length? How many of ya'll shoot with a d loop of any kind? Thanks for the advice.

Default RE: Shootin with a D-loop

I just started to shoot with a loop this last season and from my exp. it saves on string wear and my release is so much more smoother and i'm not punching it anymore. It increased my draw length just about a half inch.
