Carter Insatiable for both hunting and 3-D.
For me, the most comfortable release around.
It has a thumb trigger and is much smoother and precise compared to the wrist style hunting releases.

I use an old SCOTT release that is just about worn out after about 12 years so I am going to try out the WINN Freeflight C-10 or most likely C-12 Being that I was raised as a finger shooter. I think that it is almost impossible to use a release aid with a recurve or long bow. But I would recommend any good name brand release like Winn, SCOTT, Tru Ball, Etc.

Stanislawski Mirage (3)
Stanislawski 3 finger (2)
Stanislawski x-caliber (1)
Stanislawski Sahara2 (1)
Carter BK Target (2)
Scott Ole'Faithful (2)

Do you think I have enough releases????

For 3D I use one of the Stans (whichever one is working best for me on that given day)
For indoor spots I usually use the Carters, but will use the stan on occasion.
For hunting usually I will use the Carters again and occasionally the Scotts.

Winn free flight.
Fits like a glove evenly distrubutes the load around your wrist and back of your hand. Have had NO problems with it at all, in all weather.
