Default Summit stands, Which one is best?

I'm finally going to break down and buy a climbing stand. I've already decided to get a summit. whichone is the best as far as comfort, quietness, portability, ect.

I was going to get a summit viper xls..but now that i did a little more research....the summit revolution looks really good...and the best thing..you don't have to unscrew the footrest...it folds up on it...so it is easy to pack..

I just got my Viper this year. it's my third Summit stand and I can't imagine anything being more comfortable or more secure in the tree.

I have a Bushmaster and have no complaints what so ever. Cabelas has the Viper on sale for $199. So act fast for a good deal.

I don't think they have a "best" Every single one of their stands is made to the highest standards and quality. They are bowhunters and know what bowhunters need and want. That said, my personal favorite is still the Goliath. It's a little bigger and has the rail in front, something I like for the extra secure feeling. I suggest looking over all the stands and decide what features you really want and pick the one that fits your personal needs. The 2004 stands look great, they have a new cable locking system, and foot pegs instead of straps to help you climb. These two features are rather simple but should make the stand even more user friendly.

Don't let the front bar fool you thinking it will get in the way. I have a viper, weigh 265lbs and 6'2" and it doesn't hamper me in the least as I thought it would. It helps out when climbing too instead of just useing your elbows as it is a sit/stand climber.

I like the Revolution myself. I've had it for two years and it hasn't let me down.
