sounds like the extreme vft is a little more forgiving, but you give up a little speed

Keeping the BK II tuned won't be a problem with the new strings. I have had mine for about a year and a half and only retuned once. After about 200 shots my cams were slightly out of sync, one twist in the cables and haven't touched it since. I have the tall brace model and it shoots really nice. I shoot a lot though. It took some getting used to and if you don't shoot a lot the VFT would likely be a better choice IMO.

bow is only for hunting, sighting it in and then to the woods, have alot of friends that shoot all the time and shoot competition, not for me

you wont dont worry, didn't say i didnt practice, i shoot enough to where i am comfortorable with my bow and that is it
Isn't this a contradiction of ones self????

Been a while since I shot it through a chrony, if I remember correctly around 285 fps with a 470gr Beman matrix. Mine is 70# at 29 inches. It is fast.

Thanks Ausie-guy i have heard alot of people who say the blackknight is hard to keep tuned is that true
Mez has already answered this quesyion.
My Pat has only been in the press once to be retimed a year and a bit later and about 20k shots it is dead on.

The 04's have a new string material TS1 or ST1 and is sposed to be the bee's knees of material.

I will know in a couple of weeks if it stretches any cause I just got back from picking my 04 Black Knight up :D along with 3 speeding tickets [:o][:-]

The Birth cert say 61# 28" draw 300 gr arrow 317 fps:D.

But I am sure I can tweek the timming to get a little more;):D

Buckeyebuckwhatever

No it is not contradicting myself, i dont practice like alot of people shooting every week, i shoot it in and might shoot it only a couple more times, what i was saying is i have friends that shoot 5-6 days a week, i used to shoot like that not for me anymore, so dont sit behind your damn computer and try to find every little word where you think someone questions your opinion on bowhunting, i killed my first deer with a bow 16 years ago and average 4-7 deer a year with my bow, just because YOU think someone doesnt practice enough you question them, Get off your high horse, get back to reality and quit acting like a spoiled little teenager and quit questioning other people hunting ethics

Seems we always end up butting heads. Go ahead and take your untuned bow and unpracticed self to you nearest canned hunting operation and take the first unethical neck shot that is presented. (all are the "styles" you advocate)

Thats because you are not practicing enough. having to move your sights from week to week or session to session is a common sign of an un-practiced archer who has not developed a solid repeatable anchor and form.

That is why we shoot all the time - so we do not have to move sights.

Be an archer first........then a bowhunter - they are unseperatible IMO.
Those are words of wisdom.

As for me being on a high horse, thats just not the case. I know myself and most other bow hunters don't want an unpracticed (using this term loosley in your case archer) hunting in their woods with them.
