Fellas,

You have to keep in mind that the buglite suit is a quality suit if USED correctly. Sure it tears up pretty good if your running through briars and the thickets, but that's not what it was designed to do. Know what garbage your going to be hunting in and walking through before you decide to go out and plop down hundreds of dollars. My suit works just fine, but elect to put it on right before I get up in the tree. I have to walk through just pretty tough stuff and have even ripped through my jeans to get there. It's not the suit that's poorly made.

It's made with Scentblocker Plus 400 fabric, so I would assume 40 grams per sq. yard of fabric.

stump,
thanks for the answer and i suppose that is quite true. ill just have to keep that in mind before i decide to walk through some brush rather than go around it. where i hunt there isnt really much brush at all, and i only have to walk on mostly trails to get to my stand so hopefully this suit turns out to work for me.

I wasn't all that rough on my bug light and it started to come unsown quickly, may have just been a factory defect but down here it's allmost impossible to totally avoid briars and thickets thats why I sugjested the scentloc. The savanna series is thinner than the scentblocker so it was cooler and I was rough on it and it never tore even when caught on barbwire just thought someone might want an alternative that I had good luck with. I hope yours works out because it's pretty aggravating to pay that much for something and have it not last
