Same here, slippery.
I like heavy arrows with big feathers. I shoot with my God-given fingers. I don't use sights. My compound - when I use one - is way longer than 40". It has round wheels instead of one, one-n-a-half or two cams. It measures a flat 60% letoff by AMO method. I do not draw on the animal until it's in position for the shot. I use plain ol' broadheads that I have to file and hone every time I take them out. I don't use scentlock clothes. My camo is a plaid shirt, olive drab pants and an old, beater brown hat. I wear sneakers instead of rubber boots. I don't use a rangefinder. Never have owned a treestand....
I quit being a bowhunter when bowhunters started having all kinds of 'stuff.' Now, I'm a hunting archer.

hey slippery i know what u mean....according to everyone my set up and techniques are a little off...my euipment isn't top of the line but its what i can afford and i have got well over 20 big game animals in the 8 years i have been hunting. My best friends grandfather who has recently passed on would always tell us as kids when we were rifle hunting that "Any old club will do the job" His grandfather left him his old 30/30 lever action with open sights when he died. The stock had several little notches in it one for every moose the man had killed in his life with that gun. Now in rifle season my friend parks his 30/06 in the gun cabinet and takes out his grandfathers 30/30 to carry on the tradition. My friend understand he doesn't have the range with the 30/30 that he would have with the 30/06 but he goes back to words of wisdom that his grandfather left him..

Mastinson my brother also shoots a pse nova. And his has the same kind of markings yours does by what you have sead. He took his to the archary shop and they told him that it was just the film coating on the bow that had been scratched.T
he limb was not cracked! the bow shoots just fine and that was 3 yrs ago. but to be on the safe side maby you should take it to your archary shop you use and let them check it out just to be sure!
