Default Broadhead Weight?

I am taking a trip to Ontario this fall for black bear over bait. I am wondering if my thunderhead 100's will be a good broadhead choice. Any opinions?

ESetter1-I dont think your going to find one any better. I took two hogs once using thunderhead 85 gr one hogs wt was a little over 200lbs and the bigger one that year was 312lbs and the bigger hog only ran about 30 yrds and fell over! if they will do that to a hog there is no question in my mind which head i would use.GO with the Thunderhead or Muzzy both will do just fine.

They are an excellent broadhead as long as you can get them to fly true
and are confident with them. I find the 85gr. thunderhead fly's better for
me than the 100 gr. thunderhead. Another excellent broadhead I have used
is the wasp sst 100 gr. fixed blade. They fly very well and are very sharp
right out of the box.

Your thunderheads will work great. They are a tough well made head and as long as you do your part, they will preform.

I've been using Thunderhead 100's for years now with excellent results. If you do your part it will do the job for sure. Good luck.

A well placed 100gr. Thunderhead will reap the reward you are seeking. I love them and also am a strong proponent of 100gr. 3 blade Muzzies.
