post your best trail cam pics.

I would like to see your best trail cam pics.

This is a good way to share what each one of us is hunting for, or missed, or just hope to see.

Post any unusual ones too.

Ausie- please post our lop-sided deer.

Here are a few of mine. I had to edit one of the pics to enlarge the deer as he was standing in the background and you couldn't see him very well... P.S. These are all from Pennsylvania.....

This one goes with the top one :D

Notice the raccoon in the tree with the fox in the background on this next pics...

Here is a big buck I filmed while spotting.... talk about big tines....

Those are some nice pa deer. Myabe I should come to Indiana for a visit. My wifes grandfather lived out there his whole life as did my father and mother in law. He used to own Allied Freight out there but now he's retired and lives in the development on the hillside behind the college.

My favorites....really late August of last season. I never did see these bucks but then again I never heard of anyone harvesting either of them in my area either. It helps to have a "game preserve" right next door...:D

Here is mine:

The below picture one is the one that really hurts. This picture was taken this past Thanksgiving Day. I have a stand on the same trail 50 yards away from where the below 10 pointer is standing. I normally hunt all day but decided to only hunt 1/2 a day and come out for Thanksgiving dinner. Well wouldn't you know that the 10 pointer came though at 12 o'clock right by my stand while I was on my way home for Thanksgiving dinner. I missed him by less than 1 hour!!! Next year I am packing some turkey sandwiches!!!!!!![:@] I guess the positive is he will be bigger next season!!

Mark I was going to post some of the pictures from the most recent film the one you dropped over to me yesterday at work.

I was a little embarrassed when I went and picked the film up.
Mate I think you gave me the wrong film cause what I was given had nothing what so ever to do with deer or hunting let alone anything about the great out doors[:o][:-];)

PA, that is a great picture, some beautiful colors. Those
are Pennsylvania deer I'm assuming? Must be the light,
but the color of the forward buck's coat seems awful
light in color, especially for August. I'm also assuming
he shed his velvet recently with the reddish tint?

Although his rack is much bigger, he reminds me
a lot of some of the coues deer I've taken pics of in
Az. Anyhow, as I mentioned before, love the picture:).

Hopefully both bucks made it to safety this past fall and
will be around next year. Might want to do a little shed
hunting in "the area";).

Two Beards,

Yes, they are Pennsylvania bucks. The picture was taken on some of the local state land that I hunt. I would assume that he did recently shed his velvet for several reasons not the least of which being that his buddy in the picture still has it on. I also found several rubs relatively close by in the days that followed. Here is another pic of the same buck.....

Yeah just to throw some info in here. The sheds of the top buck were found in spring 2003 they were just scored assuming it had an 18 inch inside spread. Gross was 168 7/8, net was 152 6/8.

I had this pic on the other forum but didn't get many responses to my question of how old he looks to be. PS He ain't in the same class as some of those other big boys.

RE: post your best trail cam pics.

Zingnut, is that pic real? It does not look proportionate to body size, etc, the rack is almost as tall as the deer. Looks like to me a pic of the sheds have been applied to a body. Not calling you out, just wondering if you're pulling our legs. If not, that is the strangest rack I have ever seen.

Here is the busted 8 pointer not looking too good in this pic..

Here he is a couple of months later all healthy again.
A big plus is it looks like he made it through the season.

Some of our resident hog population that has to be thinned out BIG TIME.
