208" TYPICAL PENNSYLVANIA BUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anybody heard of the buck that was killed in PA this year that gross scores 208" and unofficially nets 202-1/8"! Sadly, it wasn't killed by a hunter, it was by a car near the Pitt. International Airport!
Some guy who works at Dicks Sporting Goods in Robinson Township is supposed to have pictures of the deer.
It just comes to show, that PA has some absolute bruisers!!!!!!! Hopefully, next year I have a 203" typical walk by me and I will let the air out of him

That would be great if it is for real. I sure would like to see that one.
BTW, I got a call form a local taxidermist this buck season. He wanted me to come score a gun killed buck that was already scored at 193" typical.
I must have brought the wrong tape with me...158" gross!

Well, if it is that big then I will be impressed. Something like that though does not stay a secret for long...taken by a hunter or not. The story should continue to surface soon.

Hey Mitch,
That buck must have had tape shrinkage Seriously though, how could someone score a deer and be 35" off? O yeah, a guy that visits the pro-shop where I just got my bow (Gone For A Day Sports) bagged a HUGE typical 15 point this year. It is a 183" deer. There is a pic of the buck at the store! I keep forgetting to see if I can borrow the pic to scan it, but, next time I am down there I will!
Frank,
I am hoping to see some pics soon. A guy on a different board went to Dicks to see the pic, but the guy who had the pic wasn't working that day. This guy was told by the other workers their that they will have the guy bring the picture in for him to see and he is going to try to get a picture of that picture, unless their is a copy machine their that they could use.
Hopefully the pics and story will surface soon.

RE: 208" TYPICAL PENNSYLVANIA BUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
I posted a thread awhile back on this buck. My buddy from Ruffsdale, PA faxed me some poor quality pictures of the buck your talking about. It's a monster. However, I didn't hear it was killed by a vehicle. I heard it was taken out near the amphitheatre (Star Lake I think). I know this doesn't help. I'll see if I can post the fax. Couldn't post the pics. Got an error that said the document contains no data.
