They're pushing them hard over on http://www.sccoutdoors.com/forums/ . It's the Turbo Nock. I just can't see paying 10 or 12 bucks for a half dozen nocks.

I checked out the web sight (thanks david). I'm not sold on it. Especially since when I clicked on the icon that said "see what our users say" (or something of that nature) and the first two I came across were unthrilled confused people lol. I'll just stick to regular vanes.

i saw them demo-ed at the raritan expo this weekend and i was kinda wondering why i havent heard about them before. the guy let me pull an arrow through a whisker biscuit compared to vanes and there was a big difference in drag and all but im always sceptical. he also claimed that it acts like rifling putting a spin on the arrow from the get go like a gun. he also put the arrow on a roller and it spun way faster with little drag compared to fletching. they look goofy but if they work as well as he said the gear junkie inside means i will have to give it a go. the price is a little high but im thinking if i buy just raw arrow shafts i will save money plus i still havent got the fletching process down all that great. any other users or opinions?

Anyone wishing more info on these should visit archerytalk.com and do a search on turbo nocks. The inventor and his pro staff post there frequently, lots and lots of info on them there...
