You mentioned not to include bows which I would extend to arrows and a release. Past that, I would say appropriate clothes. When comfortable you could stay out all day, regardless of any other item.

Range Finder, I can't judge distance to save my LIFE!!
Tree stand is a very close second.

My lucky Dallas Cowboy's hat. I have killed virtually every deer that I have ever killed wearing that hat. I sure hope it never wears out!!!!

My 'ID', a valid 'Outdoors Hunting Card' & my 'Valid Game Tag' for the WMU I'm hunting. Also 'my CELL PHONE'.
Wouldn't want to be stopped by a Conservation Officer without having these in my possession.
