Default Choice between arrows

Given the choice between Carbon Express Terminator, Easton Carbon Epic, Gold Tip Hunter, Beman ICS, or Blackhawk Vapors, which would you choose? I used to shoot Easton ACC, but they are too expensive. I need to get a new dozen and am looking for a different arrow.

PastorHunter,

I can only give you opinions on a couple of them. First off let me say that from what I've heard the Blackhawk Vapors haven't been the greatest of arrows for some people. However maybe they got a bad batch. Second I shoot the Carbon Express Terminator Hunters and I love these arrows. They shoot very well for me. Sorry I can't help with the others but hope I helped a little.

I am not certain of the 'deals' you can get on the various arrows there in the USA--other than the prices I see in your catalogs.
All of the arrows you've mentioned in your thread are quite reliable.
Here in Canada I am more in tune with the prices and have found the 'Gold tip' arrow to be a pretty good all-round shaft--quality & price within the comparison mentioned in your thread. JMHO.

If I'm not mistaken, they're manufactured in the U.S.A. by Gold Tip Inc, in Orem, Utah. www.goldtip.com

I prefer Easton arrows. I have shot Gold Tips; however, per dozen there were too many inconsistencies for me to recommend them.

I've shot everything on your list except the Vapors. I have no opinion on them. Plain ol' Gold Tip Hunters suck. Beman ICSH's are a step up. GoldTip Hunter XT's and Easton Epics are better than Beman, and I'd place them about equal. I prefer the CX Terminators, myself, but only the Select version.

I shoot Beman ICS's and have for a few years. I have no reason to change. They perform flawlessly.

Check the price on beman matrix , after giving these arrows a second chance , they have been working well for me . Last year I used terminators , and they were allright , i do think they lose their spine farely quick , and they are heavyer than alluminums . Lots of pepole love the beman ics shafts , my buds in Pa had great sucess this year with them .
