Make sure you order your deer early. They just cloned the first White Tail down at Texas A&M. Can you imagine the implications of this one when it comes to captive breeding?

Thanks for the thread Charlie. It sure was an interesting article. "DEWEY WINS', should have been the title. I'm not sure about the ethical fallout but if it helps the smart folks who study deer for a living, I guess I'm all for it. I just hope they use the knowledge WISELY.

Man you talk about the high fence hunters being happy, now they can not only be sure of keeping every buck they have on their property, they can skip the culling of the inferior bucks. Just pen up a bunch of does, implant the clones and have a whole fenced in ranch chock full of world record bucks and have no need for those nasty little does wandering around!!!! Wow that will really make trophy hunting a joke! Think about it, there you are in the fenced in area and when you see a deer you don't even have to look at the rack because you know it is automatically a record!

Hello is this the X ranch?
Yes it is.
I'd like to set up a Corporate get away for the week of Nov 1st.
No problem. How many will be attending.
6 all together. We're going to need a 1 Beatty, 2 hole in the horns, 1 Johnson and 2 Hansons. That going to be a problem?
Not at all let me get you your total. That will be $400,000 plus tip and caping fees. Could I ahve your credit card number?
