Deer eating wheat?

Default Deer eating wheat?

I know deer hit winter wheat hard this time of year. I've seen a ton in a new spot I'm gonna start hunting this weekend, but my question is do they eat it later in the year like after it is no longer dormat in the spring and before it is harvested in early summer?

they stop eating winter wheat later on.i have 2 winter wheat plots and they are killing it wright now.
