Releases
I need to get a new release and i was thinking about going to a t handel release, i was wondering if anyone uses them and prefers them over a wrist strap one. if the wrist strap kind is better whats a good one for around $30? Thanks!

RE: Releases
my primary release is a scott, but i also use a truball pro diamond. i have read that if you change to a caliper type release while practicing it helps eliminate target panic. i use it as a backup release during hunting season, when i use it to hunt i attach it to the loop and let it hang so i don't have to take the time to hook up. it takes some getting use to. i like mine but i'm still partial to the scott.

RE: Releases
i use a fletcher fourth finger release , it's what you would call a t handle ,it's a good release , it uses a rope instead of calipers , thus causing little if any damage to the center serving ,it's activated using your pinky (fourth finger ) you can also use back tension but it is not a back tension release . the only thing is if you are going to use it for hunting you have to keep track of it so when the time comes you know where it is!!

RE: Releases
I have a Tru-Ball Stinger that costs around $30. I really like it, but I am thinking about experimenting witha a target type release. I checked out the TruBall Chappy boss and liked everything except the safety/cocker that pops out on release and makes too much noise. I want to stick with Tru-Ball because of their open Christianity, but I will have to try a different one.
