That place is beautiful. How much of the wood work did you do yourself? That is something my wife and I have been dreaming about for many years? Maybe someday. Congrats on the place and the buck!

Thank`s to everybody for the compliments on the buck. I did not mean to sound like I was unhappy with him. I am very pleased with the buck. I never shot a buck with tines over 11" before. He is only 2 1/2 years old, and hindsight tells me I should have let him go. But hes mine now, and I think he will look good on the wall.
Now for the camp....it is a longer story than I could type in a whole evening.
Here is a really short version.
I do NOT own this camp. Unbelievably, a well off friend actually built this camp for me to stay in when I hunt his farm! He actually built it for me and my buddy.
It is for us to use exclusively. We come and go as we please.
How I ever was fortunate enough to make a friend like this is beyond me, but I am not complaining!
We have done quite a bit of work for him in return for permission to hunt his farm. And now, he has really pressured me into running hunts out of his high fence ground. Pretty tough for me to refuse now.
So now I have fair chase hunts in Illinois and Missouri, and high fence hunts in PA.
Anybody want a 200" whitetail?

Great looking place. Oh, and nice deer too! If your holding a drawing for a weekend trip, put my name in the hat!
Lets see, Bowhunting mornings, eat and nap at noon, back in the stand in the evening, then eat and tell lies to a bunch of other bowhunters all night. Does it get any better than this?

Really nice place there, and something any one here would love to have.
That buck is really nice, I thought he'd have scored higher too, but who cares he really is a beauty.
