I saw this in the most recent Outdoor news. A young kid from Akeley arrowed two bucks with one shot. One was a 170 pound 8 point the other was a giant 230 pound 8 point with about a 19 inch spread. It was just with all the other pictures, no big story or nothing.

The other one was a kid who shot two nice bucks with one arrow earlier in the bow season. I think his were an 8 and 9.

I just can't fathom the odds of two bucks lining up just right within range and shooting an arrow through one and then fatally hitting the other after passing through the first!!!

Also, it's just a wee big irresponsible of the hunter to not wait for a clean shot at one deer.

I would honestly say a lot more than a wee bit. That is an absolute horrible shot to take ever, let alone on two nice bucks. I can't believe they are actually proud of that fact. The odds of a fatal hit on both are slim to nil. That is just plain sad. Who exactly is guiding this kid through his hunting?

relax!These were young hunters AND they did harvest BOTH deer that were hit by their shot!What's the problem?I know i would be DAMN happy if i 'accidentally' shot TWO deer with ONE shot.jmho.

Got a question.........those bucks had to be shot from the ground right?

They would have had to be hunting on the ground. If not, one buck would have to have been standing, with another buck bedded behind it.

These guys must be shooting BowTechs to get enough KE to blow through two deer with one shot

That's definetly irrisponsable! I hate to hear thing's like this it makes us all look bad .Hopefully he learns by this .
