What is the Best Climber?
 

I have a ol' man climber and i am extremly happy with it. I has a relativly simple design with no extra straps to attach. I used my dads API Grand Slam and it just felt bulky walking through the woods compared to my ol' man.

Whats you guys opinion?

Many, many people like the summits. I have a Viper, and it is a great stand. I havn't used any other stand, so I cant compare.

After 30+ years of playing monkey with gobs of stands I finally got a Viper XLS, and it is the best one so far for me. Different strokes for different folks. Sfaety is one thing I never compromise though. That's why I use the SOP harness religiously.

My favorite stand is my BuckShot BigShot Mag.
It's heavy at 32lbs but is solid as a rock and more comfortable than my Doc's Recliner or a friend's Tree Lounge.
It is rated at 375 lbs.

You cannot beat a summit for ease of setup, for biting the tree, for stabillity, for quiet climbin, and the biggie- for confort. the new broadhead, and bullet stands from summit fold flat like the ole man stands, and are a lot more confortable.;)

If you don't want to slip, nothing grips like a Lone Wolf aircraft cable, reinforced Lone Wolf traction belt. Get a grip! Lone Wolf! Not as comfy as a Summit, but I won't trade.

IMHO you cannot beat the Summit Viper!
