which would be better for fall hunting( hunting mostly around maples and oaks) advantage timber or hardwoods green? they both have green in them. and can deer even tell what color your cammies are?

it realy does not matter but i would choose advantage timber.looks alot better.

I like the original hardwoods better, i think it just looks better withought the green. deer can tell the difference. you could wear your pajamas and be good. but there is no fun in that, got to look good.

Though I do like the Advantage Timber pattern I think it is a very "solid" pattern in that there is not much of a mix of lights and darks. The Hardwoods green pattern is a little better in that regard but blobs quite a bit at farther distances....especially if you are in front of a light background.

I would probably go with the Timber pattern too as it has more brown in it and I think that blends better than just gray and black.

Whichever is cheaper. The animals won't care IMO. Hardwoods is nice though.

I would choose wichever one has the biggest contrast between lingt and dark colors. At 20 yards the deer souldn't see the find details, they'll be more likely to see you as a solid if the patterns are real dark. Buy some Hawaiian shirts and give them a try.
