Though I do like the Advantage Timber pattern I think it is a very "solid" pattern in that there is not much of a mix of lights and darks. The Hardwoods green pattern is a little better in that regard but blobs quite a bit at farther distances....especially if you are in front of a light background.
I would probably go with the Timber pattern too as it has more brown in it and I think that blends better than just gray and black.

I would choose wichever one has the biggest contrast between lingt and dark colors. At 20 yards the deer souldn't see the find details, they'll be more likely to see you as a solid if the patterns are real dark. Buy some Hawaiian shirts and give them a try.
