Default Arrows.....

I currently shoot a 29 inch draw, 63 lb bow, with a whisker bisket rest, oh i also shoot 100 grain heads. I used Terminators 45-somethins from Carbon Express but im thinkin of somethin alittle better. Sometimes they dont shoot straight. Oh, and if i do choose another arrow will i have to re-sight my bow???

Not only will you have to re-sight it....you will have to re-tune it also.

I cannot recommend a real good carbon at this time - because I have not found one. [:'(]

Several of the local pros hunt and compete with arrows from Forge bow company. They aren't straight carbon, they've got something called Kevlon(not Kevlar) in them. Anyhow, the guys that shoot them absolutely swear by them. They don't get them for free as a sponsor either. I am going to give them a try after the season is over. My ACC's are not nearly as straight as I thought. I have a few that are not suitable for anything but slingin' arrows in the back yard.

I shoot Carbon Evolution 400s and never had any problems with them for over 2 years now. The good thing about carbon is they dont bend if you miss and if you shoot a deer with one you wont have to throw it away you can reuse it again and again, the bad part about carbon is if you hit something solid they will explode

I shoot carbon express game trackers and have never had a problem with them. In fact I use to shoot beaman hunter and like the carbon express better. They fly straight, durability is great, they don't destroy my 3-d like the beamans did and I think they fly better with broadheads. I shoot a 30 inch arrow @ 60 lbs. No complaints here.

Consider yourself lucky. Out of every dozen I buy, no matter the brand, I find about 6 of them worth hunting with.

BI,
How many dozen do you buy? I always spin test the arrows to make sure they are straight but have never had any problems. Just out of curiosity, What do you shoot for arrows?

You name it, Gold Tips, ACC, Carbon Express, Beman and others. Currently I shoot Beman ICS hunters. I'm very picky about which arrows actually get to go to the woods. I number all my arrows and I record how they perform, if I start to see a bad pattern with one, it will get benched for the season.

On average I buy at least 2 dozen a year.
