RE: Arrows.....
Do you like the beman best or is that just what you're currently shooting. I ask because I liked the way they shot but they had a couple of downfalls.
1) They tore the hell out of my targets because of the adapter. 2) Because they tore the hell out of my targest I was getting pass thru on high density targets and ripping off the fletchings. I couldn't afford to keep replaceing arrows because the fletchings were tearing off. It sounds as though you've got a good system down for weeding out the bad arrows. |
RE: Arrows.....
Belle,
If you are getting ACCs that only have 6 good ones to the dozen then have to be the unluckiest person on the face of the earth. I would be amazed to find 2 ACCs in a dozen lot that wer substandard. JMO |
RE: Arrows.....
Settle down guys, I might have been rounding a tad bit, but honestly, when you get a dozen arrows, do all 12 fly and hit in the exact same spot each shot? If so, I would say you are very lucky indeed. Number your arrows and plot their performance, you might be surprised. I've had arrows that for whatever reason, would shoot great 2 or 3 times then the 4th shot would float right a few inches. I think some arrows are more forgiving of torque, bad form, etc. I like to weed my arrows down to the 4 or 5 that ALWAYS hit dead center.
Also, a "bad" arrow could just be a bad fleching job, I'm counting those as well. And I'll stick by what I say, for every 12 I get about 6 that I love. The others may be good, just not good enough. |
RE: Arrows.....
If Terminators aren't shooting good its probably because your bow is out of tune. Any time you change anything you must resight and retune. The Terminator line of Carbon Express is a heavy and not the striaghtest. I'm not sure but I think they're striaght from +/- .003 to +/- .006. Terminators are decent arrows and tough but there are much better carbons out there.
Good Luck! |
