I think about a month or two.

Just out of curiosity, there are guys who have been around 2 and three years but on their information to the left, it says "Joined: 2/12/2003".

I've noticed a lot of people with that date. What's the deal?

They had a program update then and it gave all existing members that date as their joining date.

Ausie-Guy..... during one of the many make-overs and crashes this site had, most of the "Joined" dates were lost. There were a couple of exceptions but most everyone lost it and a zillion posts. I think I joined orginally in Feb or March of 2000. Cardeer was one of the founding members... so whatever he says is probably the start date for the REAL old guys. Cardeer had somewhere close to 20,000 posts at the time of the big melt down. I think the other old members are like PaHunter etc.

My freshman year of college was fall of 98 and that was when i started as far as i can remember. I remember talking to people about hunting so that i could learn some stuff. could have been the summer before my second season 1999

I've been a registered member since I think June 2000.......not long before that it was a site called bowseasons.com. So I guess I've been here pretty much since the beginning.

Believe it or not Frank "Pabowhuntr" joined a little bit down the road......I remember at that time I had 1300+ posts and he had ZERO. Well He had 12,000 before I got to 2,000 (The first of about 8 times:D)
That's no joke........He was the KING of addicted back then.

I remember when we started we had about a dozen "regulars" who posted the stupidest crap on the Bowhunting board sometimes just because there were so few of us and we could.......;)
I think we've picked up about 30,000 members since those days.
Lots of great new guys on the best message board on the web. We just keep evolving.

Lets see, I got my first computer in Jan 2000 and it was then that I found this site and joined in. Wasn't long after that we experienced the first big makeover. At that time there were very few on board.

I've been going & coming, joined about three years ago and had worked my way up to a 'rack buck'. I think, back then after 100 posts you moved from a fawn to a rack buck. Now I see I'm back to a fawn and have lost quite a bit of my posts. Wish I could have done the same with my 'age'.

August of 2000, I believe. Joined shortly after the original gang was forming up.

Some of the oldies I remember from back then were Willy P/Mounting Man, Rob/Pabowyer, Pabowhunter, Matt/Pa, Mr. 4pt, Big John, Cotton, Solocam -- Redbow shortly after, I think -- I know I'm forgettin' some...

Let's see... then there's VC1111, AntlerEater, davidmil, Cougar Mag, JRW...

Oh. And don't forget Koontzy! :D Man, we've had some doozies to make this place interesting over the years...

And we had that lady who was a professionally sponsored bowhunter in here for a while, and Will from Summit used to come in, and John from Muzzy; I really enjoyed the pros and company reps being here.

I think my post count has been up to around 900 twice before the site either crashed or was reformatted.

I am not sure if it was 2 or 3 years ago but then Dave Watson was a regular on the board and a man by the name of maui wes sent me plans to buils a smokehouse. Been here a while but I don't post alot!!
