I' m not content. I bought an older Blue Mountain Grey Wolf earlier this year for $125 w/ accessories. It' s a great bow, but I only bought it because there wasn' t a Darton Maverick, Hoyt Ultratec, Bowtech Pro40 Dually or Martin Phantom II Elite in the area for me to try out. I' m going to try a different approach next year.....

Well..no I suppose I' ll never want to stop trying new things...but many of the bows I WOULD be content with if I HAD to keep them.
I really like ExVFT I picked up several weeks back. Even more than my 2002 Patriot SC: A little smoother, better balanced, good but not overbearing heft, aims a bit better, quieter, faster. It' s a fine hunting bow that if need be I' d have no problem keeping for a long period of time.
But I' m always wanting to try new & different things. So as long as I' m able, I' ll continue to do so!

I am absolutely content with my hunting bow. I doubt I will switch next year. My Newberry B1 has exceeded my expectations in every way.
However...LOL...I' m going to give traditional shooting a try this year. If I can become proficient with it to 30 yards it' s bye bye to my compounds....I' m just tired of lugging them around.
I will also be ordering an indoor spot bow after the first of the year.
Never can have enough bows.

I love my Mathews SQ2 and have had it for 3 years now and the thought of a new one is nice but as the saying goes if it ain' t broke don' t mess with it.

I love my Darton Maverick. The only reason I will get another bow is for one bow to be setup for mechanical heads and feathers for fletchings for nice non wet days in the field. The other bow will be for fixed heads and veins for bad days or snowy or rainy days afield.
