Move slow, watch the wind, use any camo...

Repeat as necessary.

In the dark, wet stuff of western Washington I think that the Advantage Timber works well. It is too dark for the central or eastern parts of Oregon or Washinton, IMO. Lots of waterproof options and fabrics available in Ad. Tim.

You would be surprised how well regular 'ol woodland works! And it's cheap at Army Sruplus places. It is really underrated in my oppinion!

Predator and ASAT have to be the most effective camos for the western states.

I havn't seen predator in the field but have seen ASAT. It breaks up the human form real well. I like Cabella's outfitter camo for open ground but havn't seen it yet either. Woodland is an old standby that actually works great in several terrains. I used to wear it all the time in the Sierra's and never got busted once and it works great in the lush forests of N. California too. I wear an old real tree grey vest that reverses to woodland sometimes and it blends well in a variety of conditions. I usually just wear a T-shirt and some neutral colored pants while hunting deer here (July) and cooler weather I'm wearing a plaid shirt or the vest. Turkey gets me into some old trebark coveralls I scored at Kmart years ago.

Out here I use realtree green, mossy oak and advantage timber, as well as old military . Pretty much anything that breaks up the outline will work. If it's waterproof all the better, cause the WETcoast we do get our share of rain. Mostly it's movement that is seen, so do like The Mouse said.
