Look out IL, here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I' m heading up to Illinois tomorrow morning for an action packed week of hunting. I' m hoping the weather will cooperate and we can have some good bowhunting weather. I' ll post an update when I return, next Friday.

Welcome to Illinois Belle Island. Where in Illinois are you going to be hunting? Up by me (Chicago area) it' s been very windy the last couple of days but the temps are dropping. I hope everything will be back to normal for your hunt. Good luck.

i will be heading to illinois in the morning to.i am going to visit family and to go coon hunting at night.i will be sick seeing all the big bucks in the corn fields.good luck on your hunt.i have preety long drive to. from tennessee to paris illinois,edgar county.

Guys, I really hate to be the one to break it to you. But Illinois don' t have any big deer
Trust me, I know first hand. All I see is litte 6 pointers or 8 pointers. 
There is a better selection north of the border in Iowa or even Wisconsin.
Good luck you guys anyway!! We have quite a few does that you can shoot!

My week off for hunting begins monday.
Gonna hunt the big deer around home (douglas county) until thursday the 20th and then head south to williamson co. for shotgun season.
Probably will also consume mass quantities after the hunt down south[X(]

Our hunting here in west-cetral IL has been outstanding. From what I have observed and what many of my hunting buddies have seen, November 7 and 8 was awesome. It seems now that the bucks we are seeing are now with " hot" does. I have seen several bucks standing with does this past week in open and " to obvious" places. You know the type of little grassy waterways and the like. I think the majority of does will be bred in a matter of days. Good luck to all of you on your IL hunts and keep me posted on what you guys come up with. I was fortunate enough to take a " nice" little 130 class 8 point and will be out there trying for a " big" buck now. Good luck and good shooting.[8D]
