Default Bowhunting on Thanksgiving???

Every year for Thanksgiving I go back to my grandparents house out in the country. But the past couple years I' ve been bringing my bow back too. And a couple hours before the Thanksgiving meal, I walk behind the house and see, bucks everytime. Last year I seen 3 good bucks, all that would make P&Y and they were still chasing does and acting liek they are in the rut. Who else hunts on Thanksgiving?

My hunting buddies and I all agree Thanksgiving is always red hot! We have always seen major action on this day.

I got my first bow kill on Thanksgiving years ago.

With the moon the way it is this year, they should really be rutting this Thanksgiving.

Good Luck!

Here in Mississippi, things are just beginning to get good around Thanksgiving, my Dad, Brother-in-Law and me have spent the last 5 Thanksgivings at deer camp.

Gun season in WI. My best luck is on Wed afternoon and Thur morning. Of course I have my 7mm and my range is increased a tad. Shot a 9 pt last year at 10 years while still hunting.
