Well last weekend i went to the local hills and got a nice 4 point . HE WAS A OLD DEER that is why i took him .There is supposed to be a big 8 and a monster never got close enough my dad hunts the area and he saw the 8 and monster the 4 had been in alot of fights . Since he is gone is the other to likely to come to the horns like he did know????????????????????

Sure, just because the 4 pointer is gone, doesn' t mean another deer can' t move in to the area. Deer are very curious creatures. And anything sounding like another buck in the area will bring them in to investigate. But be careful, rattling at the wrong time of year will just tell them that something is wrong. Rattling is most effective just before, and during the rut.
