Well I got a very nice 8 point here in northeastern Pa. on November 3rd. It was the best day of hunting that I have ever had in 23 years of hunting. The temps were around 50 so it wasnt cold at all and there was no wind at all just a little fog. I had four different little bucks and five doe come in between 0730 and 0830. then at around 0930 all hell broke loose and four different buck came around chasing doe. Only one was a big one but he ran by my stand a couple of times before I could grunt and stop him. I made a 27 yard shot and hit him good. After the shot two of the other buck came right up and started to smell my arrow that passed through my buck. Then the one snort weezed at the other and they began to fight. What a day!! The buck had an 18 1/2 inch spread but a real heavy rack for my area. I need to get the picture scanned by someone so I can post it.
