No doubt he' s only 2 1/2. My taxidermist is going to age his tooth wear to be sure. Just doesn' t have much mass to go along w/ the tine length. Browtines were also very short for such impressive g-2' s and g-3' s. Dressed out at 186. That' s why I almost wish I' d have let him walk. It was only Nov. 7th and now I' m out of buck tags. I know there are much bigger deer in the area. Oh well, he' s sure a nice buck. I guess those bigger deer will be even bigger next year.

Wow, what a way to finish up you buck tags!! But I would put him at 3 1/2 just by looking.....but either way, he wouldn' t have gotten past me!!

He' s an awesome buck! I wouldn' t even think about passing on him around here!
I would' ve guessed at least 3 1/2 I was told that with the harsh winter last year and limited mass crop this year, the antler mass would be less than normal on some bucks. That was for NY though, don' t know about IL.
