Default Range finder

I bought a angle compensating range finder for archery , a tektektek prowild s , when I use it it shows the True balastic range and shows the actual distance , when I’m for say in a tree stand , do I use the TBR or the actual distance ? The TBR right , dumb question but wanna be sure lol thanks for any reply’s

The true ballistic range will theoretically give you the drop compensated for the angle. That's the trajectory the arrow will follow.

At archery ranges unless you are on a really STEEP hill, they will be very close.

On the thoery side, you want the TBR. Actual distance is your eye to the target.
